• Confirm temperature settings are appropriate (typically 37-40°F for refrigerator, 0°F for freezer)
• Allow the refrigerator to run for 4-6 hours after a power interruption or reset to stabilize internal temperature
• Check that air vents inside the refrigerator and freezer compartments are not blocked by food items or ice buildup
