• Display screen shows F1 error code
• Oven beeps repeatedly when attempting to start
• Unable to set temperature or select cooking modes
• Heating element does not activate
• Oven locks out all cooking functions until error is resolved
Possible Causes
• Faulty oven temperature sensor (RTD probe) malfunction
• Loose or disconnected wiring harness to temperature sensor
• Temperature sensor connector corrosion due to humidity exposure
• Control board communication failure with temperature sensor circuit
• Damaged temperature sensor from previous cooking incidents
• 120V power supply fluctuations affecting sensor circuit
• Internal wiring short or break in sensor circuit pathway
• Defective control module unable to read sensor signals
Precautionary measures
• Verify the oven is properly plugged into the wall outlet and power cord is fully inserted
• Check your home's circuit breaker panel—locate the breaker serving the oven and confirm it is in the ON position; if tripped, flip it OFF then back ON
• Ensure the oven door is completely closed and latched properly
• Look for any visible control lock feature on the display panel and disable it if activated
• Allow the oven to cool completely for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use it again
• Perform a complete power reset by switching off the circuit breaker for the oven for 60 seconds, then switch it back ON
• Wait 2-3 minutes for the oven to fully reinitialize and check if the error clears
• Attempt to start a cooking cycle to see if error code F1 reappears
• If the F1 error code persists after these steps, contact a professional appliance repair technician or appliance repair support service to diagnose the temperature sensor and control board
