Precautionary measures
• Verify the refrigerator is plugged in securely to a working 120V outlet and check that the outlet has power
• Ensure both the refrigerator and freezer doors are closing completely and sealing properly
• Check that temperature control settings are set to normal operating levels (not at extreme settings)
• Unplug the refrigerator for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset the control system
• Alternatively, turn off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then restore power to allow the system to reinitialize
• Inspect the refrigerator air vents and ensure they are not blocked by food items or ice buildup
• Confirm the refrigerator is standing level on the floor (not tilted)
• Allow the refrigerator to run for 2-3 hours after power restoration to stabilize and clear any temporary error states
• Check that the back of the refrigerator has proper clearance for ventilation (at least 2-3 inches from walls)
• If the Fault Code 30 persists after these checks, contact a professional appliance repair technician for sensor replacement or control board diagnostics
