Problems you may notice
• Washer stops mid-cycle and displays E7 error code
• Insufficient water filling the drum during wash cycles
• Water draining unexpectedly during operation
• No water entering the washer at all
• Washer making unusual clicking or buzzing sounds from inlet valve area
• Cycle not progressing beyond fill stage
• Error code appears immediately when starting a wash cycle
Possible Causes
• Water supply valves turned off or partially closed at the connection point
• Inlet hose kinked, twisted, or pinched restricting water flow
• Clogged inlet hose screens or filters accumulating sediment or mineral deposits
• Faulty water inlet valve not opening or closing properly
• Loose or corroded hose connections at washer inlet ports
• Low household water pressure below minimum operating requirements
• Cold or hot water supply line frozen or blocked (in extreme climates)
• Defective inlet valve solenoid or control circuit malfunction
• Water line connected to wrong inlet port (hot and cold reversed)
Precautionary measures
• Verify both hot and cold water supply valves located behind the washer are fully turned on (counterclockwise)
• Check that the washer door or lid is completely closed and latched securely
• Inspect both inlet hoses (hot and cold) for visible kinks, twists, cracks, or pinching along their entire length
• Straighten any kinked hoses and reposition the washer if needed for proper hose routing
• Ensure inlet hoses are connected firmly to both the washer inlet ports and household water supply connections
• Turn off water supply valves and gently disconnect hoses to check inlet valve screens for debris or mineral buildup, then reconnect securely
• Confirm your household water pressure is adequate by running another faucet in your home
• Verify inlet hoses are connected correctly: hot water to hot inlet port (left), cold water to cold inlet port (right)
• Check your home's circuit breaker to ensure the breaker switch for the washer is in the ON position
• Power cycle the washer by turning off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then turning it back ON
• Run a test cycle with no laundry load to see if the error clears
• If the error persists after these checks, contact a professional appliance repair technician who can diagnose the inlet valve and internal components
